The prosecutor’s office of Feodosia supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 23-year-old native of the Oryol region. Based on the evidence presented by the prosecutor’s office, he was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1, art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder). The circumstances of the case are striking — with what cruelty the jealous man tried to kill the victim.
It was established that in September 2022, the defendant, having previously found a knife, arrived in the area where his friend lived, and, having met her, after a short conversation, when the girl tried to leave, he began to strike them in the abdomen and chest. The blade of the knife broke and got stuck in the body of the victim. Taking advantage of the confusion, the girl was able to leave the scene and seek help. The attacker was arrested the same day.the prosecutor’s office said.
In accordance with the position of the public prosecutor, the perpetrator was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison in a strict regime correctional colony. The verdict has not entered into force.
