In Kerch, state traffic inspectors removed a drunk driver from driving

Employees of a separate platoon of traffic police of the traffic police of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kerch stopped the illegal actions of a driver who was driving while intoxicated.

The duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kerch received information that was reported by one of the residents of the city. The man said that in one of the districts of Kerch, a fairly drunk driver drives a car. The nearest traffic police squad promptly responded to the message received and stopped the specified vehicle as soon as possible.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

A 33-year-old citizen was driving a foreign car, in whom the police revealed clear signs of intoxication. Employees of the State traffic inspectorate offered the driver to undergo an examination for intoxication on the spot or in a medical facility, but the man refused. In this regard, the employees of the State traffic inspectorate in relation to the citizen compiled administrative material under Part 1 of Art. 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“failure by the driver of the vehicle to comply with the legal requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication”). Now the man faces deprivation of the right to drive a car from one and a half to two years and a fine of 30 thousand rubles.
