In Krasnoperekopsky district, police officers took part in the improvement of a mass grave
In honor of the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Krasnoperekopsky Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with employees of the administration of the Maginsky rural settlement and the Maginsky rural House of Culture, took part in the improvement of the territory of the mass grave of Soviet soldiers in the village of Novoaleksandrovka (in the Krasnoperekopsky district).
The remains of Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Pavlovich Kalinin and soldiers from the 156th Rifle Division, 1055th Artillery Regiment of the 346th Rifle Division of the 1st Guards Rifle Corps of the 51st Army, who died in October 1941 and April, are buried in a mass grave. 1944 in battles with the Nazi invaders. In 1967, a monument was erected on the grave.
It is the duty of every inhabitant of our country to remember the great deeds of our ancestors, to feel respect and pride in what they have done. Taking care of monuments and places of glory is a tribute to those who gave their lives for the Victory— the press service of the Crimean police notes.
