In Russia, the seasonal incidence rate of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza shows a slight increase. This was reported by Rospotrebnadzor.

Laboratory studies show that the proportion of positive influenza virus findings is decreasing. The structure of influenza viruses is dominated by A(H3N2) viruses; influenza A(H1N1) pdm09 and B viruses also circulate, but their share is not large. In the structure of respiratory viruses, RS viruses and rhinoviruses prevail, experts specified.
At the same time, the incidence of coronavirus is now at a seasonal level, about four thousand cases were recorded within a week, the department added.
Respiratory viruses continue to actively circulate even with the arrival of spring and some warming, experts add and remind us of the need to frequently wash hands and ventilate rooms. In addition, it is important not to contact people who are sick, and at the first signs of ARVI or flu, consult a doctor.
The day before, the Interregional Directorate of Rospotrebnadzor for Crimea and Sevastopol reported that incidence rate ARVI and influenza in Russia and, in particular, in Crimea and Sevastopol, is decreasing.
