Employees of the Evpatoria emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» held a training session to eliminate the consequences of man-made emergencies. The event was held in the city of Saki, at a dangerous production facility of Sanatorium Saki LLC.
According to the legend, as a result of the wear of the gas equipment of boiler room No. 2, a gas leak occurred, possibly there were victims in an unbreathable environment. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were called to the place of the «incident» by the personnel of the enterprise.
Upon arrival, the KRYM-SPAS specialists deployed an operational headquarters, using compressed air apparatuses, conducted reconnaissance in a room with an environment unsuitable for breathing. Rescuers closed the shutoff valve on the gas main, evacuated a conditional victim on a stretcher from the danger zone, practiced first aid skills for injuries typical in this situationthe emergency department said.
As a result of the training, the personnel were instructed on primary response measures in an emergency.
