In Sevastopol, a local resident was detained for placing bookmarks on the city streets

It was established that a 38-year-old unemployed man, in order to improve his financial situation, illegally turned to an online drug market with an offer of cooperation. Having received a positive decision from an anonymous administrator, he began his illegal activities: he took prohibited goods from caches, packaged them at home into single doses and, at the direction of his curators, had to sell them contactlessly.

Having received a large batch of synthetic drugs, the pawnbroker packaged it and intended to sell it, but did not have time to equip the required number of hiding places, since he was detained by police officers at the crime scene, — reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

During the search, employees of the Drug Control Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol found at his home “alpha-PVP” with a total weight of 161 grams, as well as a mixture of “synthetics” weighing more than 7 grams. In addition, law enforcement officers seized prohibited substances weighing about 100 grams from 49 caches he had previously placed in the city. The total weight of drugs seized from illicit trafficking was more than 250 grams.

An investigator of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Gagarinsky district opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “d”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the incriminated article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to twenty years. The defendant was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
