In Sevastopol, a man “on the basis of politicians” was offended by a friend and … burned his car

The Sobr Sobol employees of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Crimea and Sevastopol and the police detained the suspects in the deliberate destruction of property.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, initially between two men there was a conflict on political grounds, during which a 38-year-old citizen shot a 42-year-old friend from a gas pistol. The latter had a plan of revenge-along with his 24-year-old acquaintance, he doused the Mercedes of the offender with gasoline, set fire and disappeared. The damage amounted to 1.5 million rubles,-the press service of the department said.

Seeing the car embraced by the flame, the owner called the firefighters the Ministry of Emergencies, but it was not possible to save a foreign car from the fire. Information about the incident was transferred to the police.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Intentional destruction or damage to property.» The accomplices faces up to five years in prison.

In addition, it turned out that the assistant to the initiator of the arson is already a defendant in another criminal case for the theft of 18 thousand rubles with someone else’s banking card.

Police also checks on the fact of a possible infliction of bodily harm during the conflict. Based on the results, a procedural decision will be made.
