In Sevastopol, a man tried to steal food and alcohol from a store
It was established that the 42-year-old Sevastopol resident, who had been convicted 12 times for theft and robbery, worked at a construction site, received a good salary and generally felt good, but his criminal past still made itself felt.
One day, returning home, the man went to the supermarket to buy money. The choice fell on a bottle of cognac, a corresponding snack in the form of cod liver, fish paste and sweets, and to complete the set, he grabbed a pair of socks and shower gel. Everything would have been fine, but at the last moment the attacker decided that he could carry it all out “the old fashioned way” unnoticed in his jacket pockets. But the socks treacherously fell out in the checkout area, which attracted the attention of security, and then everything else was revealed.
Employees of a separate company of the PPSP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and detained the thief. He confessed to everything and could not explain why he committed the crime. “I just wanted to,” is the main version of the suspect— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
A criminal case was initiated against the man for attempted theft under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Now he faces up to two years in prison.
