In Sevastopol, a teenager stole a motorcycle: he wanted to ride it, but couldn’t start it and… burned it

Krympress reports:

It was established that the 17-year-old student parked in the yards his motorcycle worth 185 thousand rubles and went with his friends for a walk. Meanwhile, a 14-year-old teenager passed by and decided to ride a vehicle left unattended. There he could not have it and simply rolled it into another sparse place. Left alone with his “find,” the guy tried various ways to launch a motorcycle without a key, but, alas, to no avail. Since it would be too obvious to return the stolen vehicle to the place, the boy decided to get rid of evidence and set fire to a motorcycle, after which he disappeared in an unknown direction,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea.

When the owner of the transport returned from a walk and discovered the absence of his property, he turned to the police for help. The operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district promptly calculated the attacker and detained him. However, the “saving” motorcycle was no longer possible.

In relation to a minor, for the unlawful seizure of the vehicle and damage to other people’s property, criminal cases have been instituted under part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code and part 2 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code. Sanctions of articles provide for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to five years.
