In Sevastopol, chicken, eggs, vegetables and apples decreased — weekly monitoring data

Krympress reports:

According to the results of a weekly analysis of prices for socially significant products, specialists of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market note a decrease in prices for cooled and ice cream of chickens, eggs, apples, fresh cucumbers, onions and carrots.

The oscillations of the harvest have led to a slight increase in tomatoes, potatoes, fresh white cabbage. In all cases, price increases is associated exclusively with an increase in selling prices at the level of manufacturers and suppliers. Retail chains did not change their margin, which is confirmed by monitoring data,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the consumer market of the Department of the Department of Ksenia Kazanjiev.

To date, in Sevastopol, they successfully implement a mechanism aimed at holding prices for socially significant goods — “Memorandum of understanding”. This is an agreement between the city authorities and retail chains, signed on the initiative of the governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Recall that the memorandum provides for the voluntary establishment of the minimum or zero trading margin — in the range from 0% to 15% — for a certain list of socially significant goods. Today, the agreement is valid at 122 trading facilities in 10 network organizations, covering a wider range: from the original 23 positions it was expanded to 46 items.

Among the goods sold at preferential prices are poultry, eggs, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, cereals, bread and other essential products. This approach allows maintaining the stability of the consumer market, especially in the conditions of external economic challenges, and protects the interests of socially unprotected layers of the population.

During the current exit raid conducted today by the department specialists in the Fresh supermarkets, the audit showed complete compliance with the conditions of the memorandum. Prices for goods included in the preferential category remain stable, and the assortment corresponds to the approved list.

Particular attention is attracted by convenience for buyers: products sold by memorandum are easy to identify according to light blue price tags with a wobbler, which allows you to quickly find profitable offers. In addition, in all stores of the network, the “Buyer corners” are organized, where a single list of goods at preferential prices is presented in a single company style, as well as information on the goals and principles of the memorandum.

The lack of comments during the inspections indicates a high level of responsibility from retail chains and the effectiveness of regional control. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the government and the voluntary participation of retailers, residents of the city get a real opportunity to purchase basic products at minimal prices. Memorandum goods are in high demand, always in stock and are of stable quality. Continuing the expansion of the list of preferential goods and attracting new trading partners to participate in the memorandum remain our priority tasks— notes Ksenia Kazanjieva.

Ved for prices and regular inspections allow you to quickly respond to changes in the consumer market, prevent unreasonable prices and ensure transparency of trading processes.
