In Sevastopol, information signs were updated and warned about the danger of wild beaches

Employees of the search and rescue unit “South” of the Sevastopol Rescue Service conducted a preventive raid on the coast, checking the condition of information signs in dangerous areas. The inspection covered areas in the areas of Cape Khersones and Fiolent, where the difficult terrain requires constant safety monitoring.

During the work, rescuers paid attention to places of potential unorganized recreation, where lack of information could cost tourists their health. Based on the results of the inspection, two warning signs that had become unusable were replaced, and preventive measures themselves are planned to be continued in the near future to maintain order on the coast.

The need for enhanced control is due to the high popularity of the coastline from Cape Khersones to Cape Fiolent among residents and guests of the city. It is here that some of the most dangerous areas are located, including steep slopes in the area of ​​the Mayak bus stop, which lead to the wild beaches of Alexandra and Tsarskoye Selo bays.

In this regard, rescuers urgently remind: the only safe way to such beaches is exclusively from the sea. Descending on unequipped trails on your own poses a real threat to life, and the presence of warning signs is intended to protect people from making rash decisions.
