In Sevastopol, a 41-year-old resident of the Murmansk region, under the guise of a buyer, visited three household chemicals stores in the Leninsky district, where, using free access, he stole three bottles of perfume worth more than 10 thousand rubles from the windows, and then disappeared.
He sold the stolen perfumes to random passers-by on the street, and spent the proceeds on alcoholic drinks. In one of the cases of his illegal activities, the suspect stole a smartphone left unattended from a pizzeria employee, which caused her damage in the amount of more than 25 thousand rubles.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
As a result of operational-search activities, the criminal investigation officers detained the suspect. A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Parts 1 and 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», he faces up to 5 years in prison. As clarified in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the previously visiting man was repeatedly prosecuted for theft and robbery.
