In Sevastopol, police and volunteers paint over advertising signs for drug shops
The event to search for and destroy inscriptions on websites advertising narcotic drugs covered the streets of the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol. Before the start, police drug control officer Ekaterina Pervykh spoke in detail about the sanctions provided for the promotion of prohibited substances in accordance with Art. 6.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and also discussed with the participants the methods that criminals use to involve newcomers seeking easy money in illegal activities.
Often young people do not even suspect that they are being involved in criminal activity. They are offered a cash reward for simply writing a link to a drug shop on the wall of the nearest house. In pursuit of easy money, they completely forget about responsibility not only to themselves, but also to people who, through their actions, can be pushed to use drugs.— explained Ekaterina Pervykh.
As a result of fruitful work, the participants of the special project managed to paint over more than 250 inscriptions on city buildings.
