In Sevastopol, police officers and environmentalists carried out another raid in a suburban green zone
In Sevastopol, police officers and employees of Sevprirodnadzor conducted another joint raid on the territory of the forestry. As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol points out, the interdepartmental event was held to identify, prevent and suppress offenses and crimes in the environmental sphere.
During the next raid, employees of the Korsun specialized platoon of the separate battalion of the Vasily Buzin PPSP, together with representatives of the Sevprirodnadzor, examined the forest area near the village of Rodnoye in the Balaklava district in order to identify persons violating environmental legislation, as well as to detect and eliminate poaching traps.
Representatives of the Sevprirodnadzor noted that prohibited devices for illegal hunting lead to a reduction in the population of some animal species. As a result of the raid, no offenses were detected— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is specified that such joint events, including in the format of covert surveillance to detain poachers, are regularly held in the suburban green zone of Sevastopol.
