In Sevastopol, social workers help elderly people at home

Inpatient replacement technology for social services is being implemented in the Sevastopol City Integrated Center for Social Services. The events are held within the framework of the national project “Family”. For more than 17 years, social worker Nadezhda Siropova has been providing social services at home to elderly and disabled people. The work is not easy, but, according to the social worker, she cannot imagine herself without her clients, knowing that they need her.

We experience all life situations together: illness, joy and sorrow, loss of loved ones. I support my clients, and from them I get a boost of energy and the ability to appreciate life.,” shared social worker Nadezhda Siropova.

One of the social worker’s wards is Vera Vladimirovna Kuzmina. The woman is 90 years old; due to her age, she has difficulty moving. For more than two years now, Nadezhda Siropova has been providing her with home assistance.

Nadenka provides me with direct help in everyday life; she is a link with the outside world. I am very glad that I have an incredible assistant. She is close to me in spirit. Nadya is a very sympathetic and kind person— said Vera Vladimirovna Kuzmina.
