CrimeaPRESS reports:

They stole it because… a birthday.

In Sevastopol, a couple was detained, suspected of stealing from an electronics supermarket.

A 27-year-old local resident, having previously agreed with her 33-year-old friend, visited one of the electronics stores in the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol in order to commit the theft of household appliances. After making sure that the supermarket staff was not watching their actions, the girl and her accomplice secretly stole a media player, a router, wireless headphones and a portable music speaker worth 12 thousand rubles from the trading floor, hid it in a bag and under outerwear, and then disappeared. The criminal couple sold the stolen devices to passers-by, and spent the proceeds on alcoholic drinks and entertainment.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

The Crime Couple forgot that even if they don’t look at you, it doesn’t mean they don’t see you. The moment of the theft is captured on video from the store’s surveillance cameras.

As a result of operational-search activities, the criminal investigation department of the Russian MIA Department for the Gagarinsky District detained the suspects. As it turned out, on the day the crime was committed, the attacker turned 27 years old, and she decided in this way to get money for her own holiday. In addition, the police established her involvement in three more episodes of similar illegal activities in the city.

A criminal case was initiated against the detainees under paragraph “a”, part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», they face up to five years in prison— summed up in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
