In Sevastopol, the prosecutor’s office is looking into an incident of injury to a child in a private kindergarten

The prosecutor’s office of the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol took control of establishing the circumstances of the child’s injury in kindergarten.

According to available information, on June 26, 2025, a boy aged 1 year 9 months, while in a private kindergarten in the Omega Bay area in the city of Sevastopol, fell from a play element (stairs) on the playground while walking. The child was later diagnosed with a broken leg.

Based on this fact, the investigative authorities have opened and are investigating a criminal case under paragraphs. “b”, “c” part 2 art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers, intended for children under 6 years of age, resulting in negligence in causing serious harm to human health).
