In Sevastopol, the work of the Central Fair was checked
Krympress reports:
According to the head of the consumer market of the Department of Ksenia Kazanjieva, the fair is designed for 750 trading places, of which about 660 are occupied today, offering a wide range: from fresh vegetables and meat to non -food goods, public catering services and household services. This is a place where Sevastopol residents can purchase quality products at affordable prices and be confident in its safety.
The organizer of the Fair — GUP of the UK «ORTK Sevastopol» ensures strict control of the admission of sellers to work: every day before the start of trading, sellers receive permits, and veterinarians conduct the examination of the entire product group and issue relevant conclusions.
A specialist in the state veterinary service, who conducts an examination of all animal and plant products, works daily at the Central Fair. After the audit, a veterinary conclusion on compliance is issued — a document confirming the safety of the goods.
Employees of the Department every week check the official markets of the city for veterinary conclusions from sellers, existing sanitary books, and the passage of the sanitary minimum personnel.
If the seller does not have a sanitary book, he has no right to trade. We have not recorded such cases, but we are ready to take measures — up to the closure of the outlet— explained Ksenia Kazanjieva.
The buyer also has the right to request a veterinary conclusion from the seller — it should be available for familiarization. This is a simple but important step that allows everyone to personally verify the safety of the purchased products.
Since 2014, state laboratories of veterinary and sanitary examination have been operating in all official markets and fairs of Sevastopol. Mobile laboratories are used at the weekend, which allows you to quickly conduct research directly on the spot.
Svetlana Kuduaturova, leading veterinarian of the structural unit of the state laboratory of veterinary and sanitary examination in the markets, spoke about the importance of conducted research:
Meat and poultry are checked for signs of infectious and invasive diseases. Dairy products undergo organoleptic and physico-chemical studies-we check the acidity, fat content, protein content, the presence of added water, and also conduct research on the detection of milk from animals, patients with mastitis or brucellosis. We check the cottage cheese and sour cream for falsification. Vegetables and fruits — for the content of nitrates. Everything in accordance with established standards.
In the first 7 months of this year, the Veterinary Office conducted more than 287 thousand veterinary and sanitary examinations and 117 thousand laboratory tests. Modern equipment and reagents allow you to identify even the slightest deviations, providing maximum consumer protection.
We strongly remind you: it is necessary to buy food only in specially organized places — in retail markets and fairs that have a permit for activities. Only there you are guaranteed to receive products that have passed veterinary and sanitary control— emphasized Ksenia Kazanzhieva.
To stabilize the prices and ensure the availability of quality products in Sevastopol, an organized trade system is developing, consisting of 13 official retail markets, 149 fair platforms with 1486 trading places (including 127 sites with 1392 places for the sale of food and agricultural products), more than 200 stores of regional retail retailers, more than 1,500 places of non -stationary trade, and all all over 1st places of non -stationary trade, all — With permits. Fairs are held in all areas of the city, including remote settlements, providing equal access to quality products for all residents.
