The green plantings of Sevastopol are processed from a quarantine pest — the American white butterfly.
Work on the treatment of green spaces from quarantine insects began in May of this year. In the territories assigned to the State Budgetary Institution «Parks and Squares», about 15 trees were processed, where the American butterfly was found. The state management companies that serve the multi-apartment housing stock processed 441 wood. On the part of the municipal districts, about 15 trees were also processed. He also urged residents to send information to the Department of Municipal Economy about the facts of damage to green spaces by a quarantine pest with photo fixation and an indication of the address — the information will be sent to the responsible structures: municipalities, the Parks and Squares institution, and management companies.
