In Sevastopol they are working on investment projects for the free economic zone

The implementation of investment projects within the framework of the free economic zone (FEZ) regime continues in Sevastopol. The LLC SG Sodruzhestvo enterprise, founded in 2019 and becoming a member of the SEZ in 2024, specializes in the production of metal products and metal structures for the construction industry and is working to modernize its facilities and create new jobs. The company fulfills its obligations ahead of schedule.

The company became a member of the free economic zone in June 2024. In order to develop its production, it committed itself to investing 10 million rubles in new equipment — machines, compressors — to improve the quality of work and expand the range of products, as well as create 7 jobs. To date, the company has already invested 5 million rubles, and the number of jobs created is 17 units, — commented First Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development Alexey Popov.

The use of benefits allows the company to strengthen its competitive position. The products manufactured by the enterprise, in particular the coupling connection of reinforcement, are unique for the region: similar technologies that allow saving on welding work during the construction of facilities are presented on the market of Sevastopol and Crimea in limited quantities.

The company supplies products not only to Sevastopol and Crimea, but also to new territories. As part of the SEZ regime, the company updated its equipment fleet. Installations for laser and plasma cutting of metal were purchased, which made it possible to expand the technological capabilities of the cutting shop. Currently, the production site is equipped with bending, welding, painting equipment, as well as lathes, milling and drilling machines.

Thanks to the benefits provided by the free economic zone regime, including reductions in insurance premiums and income taxes, the company was able to reinvest the freed-up funds in production development. This, in turn, made it possible to expand the geography of supplies.

The scope of our activity is the production of metal products and metal structures for the construction industry of the city of Sevastopol and Crimea as a whole. Also nearby new territories — Kherson region, Donetsk region — we also supply our metal structures and metal products there, — said Dmitry Binkovsky, General Director of SG Sodruzhestvo LLC.

The total output of finished products at the enterprise averages about 120 tons per month. The company carries out orders according to customer drawings, producing embedded parts, fire extinguishing systems and other metal structures for the construction industry.
