In Sevastopol, they check the readiness of agricultural equipment for field work in vineyards

Inspectors of the Gostekhnadzor Department of Agriculture and Consumer Market conducted an on-site technical inspection of self-propelled equipment on the basis of one of the large agricultural enterprises in the region — Agrofirm Zolotaya Balka LLC. 80 units of special equipment involved in the production cycle of the enterprise were presented for inspection.

This annual procedure is an important preventative safety measure on roads, construction sites, agricultural lands and industrial facilities. The main purpose of a technical inspection is to ensure that the equipment is in good working order, to confirm that its design and condition comply with established standards, and to eliminate the risks associated with the operation of faulty equipment.

During the event, specialists checked the technical condition of the vehicles, compliance of the numbered units with registration data, whether the drivers had documents for the right to drive, as well as whether the equipment was equipped with first aid and fire extinguishing equipment. Considering the limited mobility of agricultural machinery, the inspection was carried out at its actual location — directly at the production sites of the enterprise.

All 80 presented self-propelled vehicles successfully passed technical inspection and were found ready for use in field conditions, — reported the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

We remind you that undergoing an annual technical inspection is mandatory for all owners of self-propelled vehicles in the city of Sevastopol. The department’s Gostekhnadzor carries out routine inspections at agricultural, road construction, warehouse and industrial enterprises in the city.
