A bomb from the times of the Great Patriotic War, found in the area of ​​the Chernomorets-2 horticultural partnership, was destroyed on the spot by the forces of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

Pyrotechnicians of the Specialized Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol destroyed a bomb from the times of the Great Patriotic War at the place of detection. Operation was successfully completed. The work was carried out on the territory of the Chernomorets-2 horticultural partnership in the Nakhimovsky district on March 3— reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.

Recall that employees of the emergency department discovered the ammunition while processing applications from the population and identified it as a German SD-2 bomb. However, given the type of fuse, it was decided to destroy the find right on the spot. The work was carried out in compliance with the necessary security measures, there was no threat to the population and infrastructure.
