In Sevastopol, the prosecutor’s office sent to court a criminal case against members of an organized group involved in the illegal sale of drugs.
The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol approved the indictment in a criminal case against two residents of the Republic of Crimea. They are charged under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 5 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs using the Internet by an organized group on an especially large scale). According to investigators, the women entered into an agreement with unidentified persons, the criminal case against which was separated into a separate proceeding, who organized activities for the illegal sale of drugs. According to the assigned role, the defendants were supposed to receive batches of narcotic drugs and put drugs in them.— reports the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The criminal activity was stopped by the police, who in February 2022 seized a narcotic drug weighing more than 1.3 kg.
The criminal case was sent to the Balaklavsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits.
