It was established that the 42-year-old Sevastopol resident had long wanted to serve for the good of the Motherland, but he still couldn’t get to the military registration and enlistment office to fill out the documents. But he began to celebrate such an event in advance with his 36-year-old friend. One day they decided that it was enough to spend the money that was completely gone on alcohol, and they figured out how to steal bottles from the supermarket without being noticed. To do this, the youngest of them took a backpack with him, and his friend, the hero of the occasion, quietly put 4 bottles of strong alcohol there, after which the men left and, satisfied with themselves, headed to a secluded place, where they indulged in memories over a glass of alcohol.

Everything would have been fine, only the video surveillance camera treacherously recorded the moment of the theft, and operatives of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Leninsky district identified the suspects and detained them,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

The investigative department opened a criminal case against the defendants under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”, they face up to five years in prison.
