In Sevstopol, the prosecutor’s office has achieved violations in the activities of the construction of construction waste

The Sevastopol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor’s Office checked compliance with the requirements of the law on environmental protection in the activities of the company, which is engaged in the processing of construction waste. Verification measures were carried out together with specialists of the Southern Interregional Directorate of Rosprirodnadzor as part of the consideration of the appeal.

It was established that on a land plot in the area of ​​the Kamyshovoye highway, a commercial organization carries out activities for storage and processing of construction waste using a crushing-sorting complex. On the site rented by her, waste of the IV hazard class of class IV was partially placed. At the same time, the business entity did not have licenses to carry out activities with waste of class I-IV. In addition, the site was not registered as an object of negative impact on the environment, did not have a canopy to protect waste from wind and precipitation, and waste passports were not developed by the enterprise. The environmental prosecutor’s office introduced an idea of ​​the elimination of the identified violations to the commercial organization,-the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol said.

The prosecutor also initiated two cases of administrative offenses against the director of the enterprise under Part 1 of Art. 19.20 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (carrying out activities not related to profit, without a license, if such a license is required) and Art. 8.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (non -compliance with environmental requirements for the operation of enterprises, structures or other facilities). Based on the results of their consideration, the perpetrator was assigned a fine of 30 thousand rubles and a warning was issued.

After the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, measures were taken to eliminate violations. The site is covered by the tent, the dangerous waste on it was liquidated, the company entered into an agreement on the development of the necessary documents, the responsible employee was brought to disciplinary liability.
