In Simferopol, a fraudster «sold» aerated concrete blocks. «Traded» for almost 6 million rubles

In Simferopol, the prosecutor’s office sent to court a criminal case on the embezzlement of funds from customers of aerated concrete blocks for almost 6 million rubles. A 42-year-old local resident is accused of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed on an especially large scale).
According to investigators, the man, being an employee of an aerated concrete plant, in the conditions of a shortage of an aerated concrete block, offered citizens to purchase these products from him. Misled as to whether the man had the authority to sell the goods, the buyers gave him money for aerated concrete, which he was unable to provide. In total, 5.8 million rubles were stolen from 25 victims in this waythe prosecutor’s office said.
The prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case with the approved indictment to the court for consideration on the merits.
