Early in the morning (at 4:43) the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea received information about a fire in Simferopol, on Zapadnaya Street. An industrial warehouse caught fire there. The fire spread quickly and in a matter of minutes engulfed premises on an area of about 1 thousand square meters. meters.
About 30 people and 7 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. At 07:23 the fire was localized, and at 09:40 it was completely extinguished. According to preliminary information, there are no victims. Experts are investigating the causes of the state of emergency, and the prosecutor’s office has begun an investigation.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea controls the establishment of the circumstances and causes of the fire in the building located at 3 Zapadnaya Street in Simferopol.
Supervisory measures have been organized, during which an assessment will be made of the fulfillment by responsible persons of the requirements of federal legislation, including fire safety.
