Traffic is one lane.
Repair work is underway on the Borodino Ring in Simferopol. More precisely, not on the ring itself, but a tier above — on the bypass road — the Eastern City Bypass. Because of the rains, the soil collapsed here, the embankment under the asphalt failed.
As a result of precipitation, the embankment of the subgrade on the approaches to the overpass was washed out— said in the administration.
Unfortunately, the asphalt-concrete surface was also damaged. Emergency crews are on the scene.
At the moment, the soil has been removed from the road, traffic in one lane is limited, measures are being taken to restore the integrity of the structures— said in the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea.
