On March 25, in Simferopol, the annual Republican patriotic campaign «Victory Landing Forces» started as part of the All-Russian patriotic campaign «Let’s Bow to Those Great Years.»
«Victory Landing» is aimed at conducting volunteer actions for cleaning, landscaping and repairing monuments of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, providing labor assistance to the elderly, veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, children of the war and home front workers, holding open lessons in schools on the theme «79th anniversary of the liberation of the Crimea from the Nazi invaders», the promotion of volunteerism and labor activity among school and student youth.
According to the administration of the Crimean capital, the Russian Student Detachments hosts two such events once a year — this is the winter «Snow landing» and «Victory landing», timed to coincide with the celebration of Victory Day. As part of the patriotic action this year, 10 mass graves, 3 squares of military glory and 22 more public territories will be landscaped in Crimea. The participants in the movement are students, members of the Crimean regional branch of the Russian Student Groups.
Crimea is a unique territory with a lot of memorable places, including Simferopol. Indeed, it is very pleasant that you are so involved and with such sincere zeal and impulse are putting in order and beautifying these territories. You show with your work that it is necessary to honor the memory. On behalf of the head of the administration of Simferopol, Mikhail Afanasyev, I would like to convey to you the wishes of success in your work and new endeavors, as well as new victories— Elizaveta Glushchenko, deputy head of the Simferopol administration, addressed the participants of the action.
During the event, each team was given vouchers to the municipalities at the place of work, after which all those present took a group photo.
