⁠In Simferopol they want to revive the traditions of celebrating the Crimean New Year

In the Simferopol region, on the territory of the Zhigulina Roshcha microdistrict, on December 19 and 20, the gastronomic festival “Tasty in the District” will take place, organized by the administration of the Simferopol region, where local chefs will present Crimean dishes from local products. There will also be two exhibition and fair zones: “Crimean Selves” will introduce you to delicacies that can only be tasted in Crimea, and “New Year’s Crimean Souvenir” will delight you with unique handmade souvenirs from craftsmen of the peninsula.

The program includes New Year’s master classes, an interactive “Ice cream mood” for the little ones, the “Crimean Christmas tree, burn!” event, a traditional round dance around the Christmas tree of the capital of Crimea.

As part of the events, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Development of Gastronomic Tourism in the Republic of Crimea will be held, at which the results of the implementation of the “ProEDU in Russia” project in 2025 will be summed up and a work plan for 2026 will be presented.

Graduates of the educational project “Tourism Factory”, organized by the “My Business” center, will present their landmark achievement — a special Crimean New Year’s menu.
