In the Bakhchisarai district, they are trying to increase the area of watering agricultural land
Krympress reports:
This allows you to increase the area of irrigated lands and reduce water loss during irrigation of agricultural land in the Alminsky valley. Which, in turn, will positively affect the work of agro -industrial enterprises located in the region. In the presence of watering, the yield of perennial crops increases by 40-60 %— said the head of Crimea.
So, this year in the Bakhchisaray district, watering agricultural cultures on an area of over 4 thousand hectares are planned, which requires the supply of more than 3 million cubic meters of water.
Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that the restoration and modernization of the reclamation complex infrastructure is an important component of measures for the development of the agricultural industry of Crimea, on which the republic’s food security largely depends.
