The prosecutor’s office of the Belogorsk district approved the indictment in a criminal case against a 29-year-old resident of the Kirovsky district of Crimea. He is accused of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery), paragraph “d”, part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed from a bank account).
According to the investigation, in mid-May last year, the accused, together with persons unidentified during the investigation, the criminal case against which was separated into a separate proceeding, agreed to commit a robbery. To this end, they arrived at a site near the Muromskoye-Sennoye highway in a makeshift buggy-type vehicle, where they began to wait for the victims. When the Mitsubishi car drove up to the indicated road, the attackers intentionally collided with it.
After the car stopped, the defendant tried to take the keys from the woman at the wheel by spraying her with pepper spray. The attackers tied up the passenger of the car, taking away the bag, phone and money— told the details of this detective story in the prosecutor’s office.
In total, the attackers stole property and money from the victims in the amount of more than 150 thousand rubles, including a bank card.
The man and his accomplices fled the scene of the crime, later using a bank card stolen from the victim, they made several purchases.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Belogorsk District Court for consideration on the merits.
