In two educational and laboratory buildings of the Crimean Federal University. V.I. Vernadsky in Simferopol, work began on the installation of facades. This was reported by the press service of the “Unified Customer in the Construction Industry”.

In total, the “Single Customer” will complete the construction of five educational and laboratory buildings of the university with a total area of ​​more than 46 thousand square meters. meters. Now on two of them — the building of the Institute of Foreign Philology and the building of the Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, work is underway to install a ventilated facade. Also at the sites, builders carry out work on the installation of internal electrical networks, heating and ventilation networks, and also install partitions from plasterboard products and window blocks, the company’s press service said.

The press service of the “Single Customer” added that it is planned to complete the construction of the buildings and equip them with modern technological equipment in 2027.

In the building of the educational building of the Institute of Foreign Philology there will be lecture halls, computer classes, a dean’s office, offices of the director and heads of departments, teaching rooms, a coordination center for international activities, as well as a center for the linguistic cultures of the small peoples of Crimea and other premises.

The attached building of the Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering will be intended for training undergraduate and graduate students. There will be educational laboratory and computer classes, a lecture hall with 140 seats, as well as office premises.

The company’s press service also recalled that two new dormitories for 250 and 450 places are being built for university students. It is planned that both buildings will be put into operation in 2025.

Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky unites 13 institutes, six colleges, an academy and a technical school. More than 23 thousand students from Russia and foreign countries study there under higher and secondary vocational education programs in the fields of medicine and healthcare, agriculture, construction and architecture, etc.
