In the Leninsky district and Feodosia they are preparing for the swimming season
The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea is actively working to implement the action plan for the preparation and conduct of the 2026 resort season. Extended meetings are held with representatives of administrations, regulatory authorities and the tourism industry to explain the specifics of the work.
Thus, a meeting was held in the Leninsky district under the chairmanship of the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganziya and with the participation of the head of the administration Igor Krutkov, as well as employees of the State Inspectorate for Inspectorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, the territorial department for the Southern Coast of Crimea of the Interregional Directorate of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, and the Federal Budgetary Institution «Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Republic» Crimea and Sevastopol».
The minister noted that the Leninsky district has extensive beach areas, its golden sandy beaches are very popular among vacationers, and its close location to the Crimean Bridge provides advantages in terms of occupancy during the high season. Sergei Ganzii said that according to tour operators, bookings for the summer season are ahead of last year’s figures by an average of 20% and called on participants in the process to make every effort to ensure that the season takes place at a high level.
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, set the task very clearly: to bring all activities to a legal and fair denominator. Particular attention is paid to safety: rental points, attractions, equipment on the beaches, the presence of rescue sailors. In addition, we will conduct separate raids to check the activities of tour guides, guest houses not included in the official register, and other accommodation facilities. The Ministry received powers to control and supervise these activitiessaid the minister.
At the same time, Sergei Ganzii noted that support measures in the form of cancellation of beach passports and beach fees for their users have been extended for another year.
By April 1, municipalities must approve the lists of beaches, and by May 1, ensure the installation of approved information boards at each entrance to the beach, with up-to-date information, including telephone numbers of the administration, the beach owner, the local police officer, as well as the “Hospitable Crimea” memo. Beach users were reminded that by May 1, the technical readiness of the beaches must be completed — bottom inspection, repairs, painting, replacement of beach equipment and inventory, etc.
By June 1, beach users must have all the required documents, including those for conducting water samples. The placement of rental points for small boats will be clearly regulated. Rental points must be separated from the swimming area by a special corridor. It is prohibited to place beach umbrellas, sun loungers, or sun loungers in the adjacent territory.
According to Igor Krutkov, the Leninsky district, as one of the largest regions of Crimea with 14 officially operating beaches, is obliged to make every effort to meet the high requirements put forward by the Head of the Republic and the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism. He added that 2026 was declared by the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, as the Year of Crimean Hospitality and the overall goal is to ensure a comfortable and safe holiday for all guests of the peninsula, demonstrating the best traditions of Crimean hospitality.
Also on this day, Sergei Ganzii held a meeting with the head of the administration of the city of Feodosia, Vladimir Kim, where he discussed the preparation of the region for the holiday season and problematic issues of the municipality.
The meetings also addressed issues of sanitary requirements for the opening of beaches, compliance with fire safety requirements at the facilities of the sanatorium-resort complex, protection of public order and the safety of citizens during the holiday season, registration of citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens in accommodation facilities, attracting foreign citizens to work, illegal employment, as well as replacing signs in a foreign language with Russian.
