The driver was invited into the patrol car to file an administrative document for violating the traffic rules of the Russian Federation.
While in a company car, a 66-year-old resident of the Krasnodar Territory, trying to avoid punishment, persistently offered the State Traffic Inspectorate employees a monetary reward. Despite repeated explanations about the illegality of his actions and criminal liability, the man placed 5 thousand rubles in the niche of the dashboard of the patrol car. An investigative team was called to the scene and documented the fact of an attempt to bribe police officers. A criminal case has been initiated against the offender under Part 1 of Art. 291.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Petty bribery”, he faces up to a year in prison. The defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, the driver was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 4 of Art. 12.15 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Driving in violation of the Traffic Rules into a lane intended for oncoming traffic.”
