The event was organized by the Municipal Budgetary Institution «Urban Adolescent and Youth Center» with the participation of the volunteer headquarters «We’re Together» and the VOD «Volunteers of Victory».
According to the organizers, the submitted materials, after digital processing, were printed and placed on the stands provided by the artists of the city of Yalta. Despite the bad weather, throughout the day on May 9, the posted exposition was added with new photographs. The heirs of the Great Victory came to honor the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, brought their photographs, carefully attaching them to the stands. In the premises provided by the Vernissage Alley Directorate, a mobile photo lab worked, in which everyone could immediately print out the photos of the Heroes and immediately place them on the “Panel of Memory”. The processing and printing of photos received by e-mail of the organizers also continued. These photos were also immediately added to the exposition, — noted in the press service of the administration of Yalta.
The action was attended by the Head of the municipality — the chairman of the Yalta city council Konstantin Shimanovsky and the head of the administration of the city of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko. They personally posted photos of the Heroes of their family on the Victory Panel.
According to Elena Kirillova (Nadel), the director of the Municipal Budgetary Institution «City Teen and Youth Center», the action should not be limited exclusively to a holiday.
Memory, pride and great gratitude to the defenders of our Motherland lives in our hearts forever. The lists of Heroes defending the honor and independence of our state, which today opposes the aggression of the collective West, are updated daily!
