In the Republic of Crimea, events were launched as part of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor

The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov took part in the solemn event dedicated to the opening of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in the Republic of Crimea.

A teacher is the most important profession, because the future of our country depends on what is invested in children today. It is the mentor who teaches children how to separate truth and lies, sets guidelines that determine future actions and decisions. We will always remember our first teachers — one of the most important pages in a person’s lifeAksyonov emphasized.

He recalled that thanks to the teachers and their dedication to the cause, Russian culture and Russian historical traditions have always been preserved in Crimea.

In 2014, this determined our fateful choice. Now our Crimean teachers are helping their colleagues from the new Russian regions to get comfortable, helping the younger generation to realize that they are finally at home and will be taken care of. In turn, the leadership of the Crimea will continue to do everything possible to provide teachers with decent working and living conditions.— said the Head of the Republic of Crimea.

Sergey Aksyonov presented well-deserved awards of the Republic of Crimea to educators: Diplomas of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Letters of Appreciation from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, decals «Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea».

Recall that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, 2023 was declared the Year of the Teacher and Mentor.
