In the south of Russia, high consumer activity in the housing market remained in March, according to April report «Regional economy: GU comments». A similar trend is observed in Sevastopol, where, according to the survey of the Bank of Russiaincreased the number of buyers of residential real estate.
Thus, in March, in the southern regions of the country, the demand for housing remained at a high level, which was supported by the growth of mortgage lending and the sale of housing certificates. A survey of experts in Sevastopol showed that in the first three months of this year, the number of property buyers in the region increased compared to the summer and autumn of 2022. The main demand for housing was observed from Sevastopol and Crimeans, and to a lesser extent among the inhabitants of the mainland. The activity of buyers was reinforced by the expansion of the preferential mortgage program, which added conditions for families with two children.
According to the survey, there are differences in order to purchase square meters. In the secondary market, as a rule, the only housing is purchased, as well as for renting out. Clients choose real estate in the primary market as an investment object.
The report of the Bank of Russia contains trends in the current economic situation in all regions of the country. The material is based on official statistics, business surveys, opinions of analysts and experts. In April 2023, almost 12 thousand enterprises participated in the survey, incl. about 90 Sevastopol.
