Avito Works analysts studied what salaries were offered to plumbers in different fields. Based on the results of the second half of 2025, in Crimea, companies in the construction of industrial and infrastructure facilities were more willing to pay such workers than others: the median salary offer was 105,000 rubles/month (+28% over six months) at full employment.
The indicated salary offers are the average values of the ranges offered by employers in vacancies. The data is relevant for specialists with work experience from 1 to 3 years. If you receive a higher rank, as well as if you have additional management functions, the level of offered salaries may be higher. In addition, the income of plumbers largely depends on the type of employment and workload. The key role is played by the work schedule, the number of shifts and hours worked, and the remuneration system (salary, piecework or mixed). The industry also has a significant impact on the level of income: in construction and services, earnings are more often formed by the volume of work performed, while in housing and communal services a large share is made up of a fixed salary with additional payments.
The second-highest median salary offer for plumbers is in the residential and commercial construction industry. Companies from this industry offered an average of 96,813 rubles/month (+16% over six months). The top 3 also included the housing and communal services sector and urban infrastructure, with the median salary offered to plumbers at 62,292 rubles/month (+17% over six months).
In addition, Avito Works analysts analyzed the dynamics of vacancies for plumbers. Compared to the first half of 2025 in Russia, the demand for such specialists grew most strongly in the field of maintenance, repair of machinery and equipment (+74%, the average salary offer was 67,821 rubles/month), the field of household and personal services (+56%, 74,311 rubles/month), as well as among housing and communal services companies and urban infrastructure (+19%, 65,746 rubles/month).
In the second half of 2025, the demand for plumbers throughout the country increased by 7%, and the average salary offer reached 68,973 rubles/month. The demand for such specialists is largely due to two key factors. On the one hand, a third of apartments in new buildings are rented out without finishing, which puts a strain on the market for repair and engineering work. On the other hand, engineering communications in real estate require regular modernization, adaptation to new standards and replacement as they wear out, throughout the life of the buildings. This cyclicality provides such specialists with a stable flow of orders and makes demand for them less dependent on market fluctuations, — comments Andrey Kucherenkov, operational director of Avito Works.
In some regions, the demand for plumbers is growing faster than in the country as a whole. For example, in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) the number of offers for such professionals over six months increased by 83%, in the Sakhalin region — by 81%, in Buryatia — by 79%, in the Khabarovsk Territory — by 72%, in the Omsk region — by 52%.
The highest average salary offers for plumbers in the second half of 2025 were recorded in Moscow (102,317 rubles/month), Leningrad region (89,332 rubles/month), St. Petersburg (88,778 rubles/month), Moscow region (85,875 rubles/month) and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (84,429 rubles/month).
