The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol completed the investigation of a criminal case against a resident of Yalta, accused of providing services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, resulting in negligence in causing grievous harm to health (clause “c” of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigation department for the city of Yalta established that a 42-year-old man in the village of Gurzuf organized paid transportation of vacationers in an electric car along the embankment named after. The criminal investigation has been completed. The necessary forensic examinations have been carried out and a sufficient evidence base has been collected.

The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for study, approval of the indictment and subsequent referral of the case to court.
