In Yalta, an employee of the State traffic inspectorate helped a young couple to get to the maternity hospital

CrimeaPRESS reports:

An excited driver turned to the traffic police crew, who was on the patrol route on the highway in Yalta, for help. He said that he was taking his wife to the maternity hospital: the woman had contractions, and because of the large flow of cars, he was afraid of not having time to get to the medical facility.

The inspector of a separate platoon of the traffic police of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta, police lieutenant Alexander Marchenko, immediately responded to the situation. Leaving his two partners at the patrol site, the policeman decided to help the couple get to the maternity ward as quickly as possible.

Turning on the flashing beacons and sound signals on the official car, he escorted the Yalta residents to the medical organization. While they were on the way, the inspector warned the doctors about the emergency. A few minutes later, the woman in labor was handed over to the doctors. Medical workers noted that the patient was delivered to the maternity ward on time, and any delay could be fraught with consequences for the health of the mother and child , — said the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The story ended well. A boy was born, who was named David. The baby is healthy and is already at home with his mother. The couple thanked the police officers for their prompt response and assistance.
