In Yalta, the holiday season was extended until October 15

Krympress reports:

The holiday season in Yalta was extended for two weeks — until October 15. This is due to an increased tourist stream. About this on the air Radio «Satellite in the Crimea» told the head of the city administration Yanin Pavlenko.

We made such a decision, and we are extending the bathing season until October 15. This means that all our beach areas will work before this date— she said.

Yanina Pavlenko added that the tourist flow increased this year. The percentage of housing booking in Yalta showed that this season there were not enough places to accommodate the guests of the resort.

We saw that we did not have enough housing for tourists. This season, the reservation exceeded 100%. Collective accommodation agents were completely filled, in demand— said the head of the administration of Yalta.

Now the city is preparing to revise the strategy in favor of the development of the hotel direction, apartments and sanatorium-resort complexes, she added.

We will now offer investors a number of new transformations that will make it attractive to build hotels and sanatorium-resort complexes in Yalta— she said.

Earlier, the chairman of the Crimean Hotel Association, Sergei Makoviy, said that despite the end of the calendar summer, there are observed in the Crimea Active phase of the holiday season. The mass outflow of vacationers is not recorded, the placement objects are booked for September, and in some cases and on October.
