“Interesting” and “unexpected”: leading travel experts spoke about their associations with traveling in Russia

Travel service Tutu as part of their project Media Intelligence interviewed 17 leading Russian travel journalists, bloggers and photographers. The experts were asked to indicate the first three associations associated with traveling in Russia. A total of 123 different responses were received. The three most popular options are: “nature” (14% of respondents), “interesting” (10%) and “unexpectedly” (14%).

In general, experts characterize travel in Russia at the level of associations in a positive way. In addition to the above, other popular options are “beautiful”, “delicious food”, “kind people”, “heartfelt”.
