Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the violation of housing rights of a resident of Simferopol

On behalf of the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Terentev, a procedural verification of the information presented on the air of one of the federal television channels about the violation of the housing rights of an elderly resident of Simferopol was organized.

The story reports that a pensioner, after undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation center, cannot return to her home because the new owner of the home will not let her in. The current owner bought the house from an elderly woman in 2018, but according to the contract, the pensioner has the right to live in it for life.

V.N. Terentyev instructed to immediately organize a check on the information presented in the media about the violation of the housing rights of a pensioner under Articles 159 and 330 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Fraud”, “Arbitrariness”), giving a legal assessment of the procedure for the alienation of the property of an elderly woman in order to restore her rights.
