Irina Kiviko: «From the field to the table, Crimean products should go a minimum path»

The development of agro -industrial tourism and gastronomic tours should be motivated and encouraged by the region and the Government of the Republic of Crimea. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko at a meeting of the interdepartmental working group for the development of the gastronomic industry in the Republic of Crimea.
It is necessary to start with school and secondary vocational education. Love for the native land, then growing into a profession, gives the region a high -level professional. The emotions that our guest receives on a trip, including through gastronomy, gives us the return of tourists, which stimulates enterprises to year -round work and increases the profitability of production. In addition, we need to help the unification of manufacturers, restaurateurs and managers of accommodation facilities at the regional level. The Deputy Prime Minister also noted the importance of updating and developing a single gastronomic excursion of Crimea from east to west to the peninsula due to high demand among gastrotur tourists and the knowledge of the region through national and local cuisines, the popularization of gastronomic tours, and training personnel for this work.

According to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Gansia, the interdepartmental working group for the development of the gastronomic industry in the Republic of Crimea was created as part of the Federal Project of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives “I will drive through Russia!”, Aimed at developing a gastronomic industry in the country.
Today, the Republic of Crimea and Sakhalin are transferred to the status of the Flagman regions, and 11 more pilots also joined the project: Belgorod, Ivanovo, Murmansk, Tomsk, Tula, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk regions, Perm Territory, Kamchatka, Mordovia and Sevastopol. The purpose of the project is the development of the gastronomic industry as a strategic tool for the image and economic growth of the Republic of Crimea as a year -round competitive tourist region of the Russian Federation, the development and promotion of new types of tourist products unpointed seasonal fluctuations. The program «Passing in Russia» in the Republic of Crimea will open up new prospects for regional development and will be an important step in the formation of a sustainable gastronomic brand that can attract tourists and investors from all over the country— said the minister.
According to him, the working group, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Crimea, for the first time formed a register of public catering enterprises of the Republic of Crimea in the context of municipalities, which forms the gastronomic guide in the Crimea. As part of the state program for the development of resorts and tourism in the Republic of Crimea, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea is developing a new gastronomic route. The immediate plans are to create a register of thematic gastronomic excursions, the development of the gastromarchist “Gastronomic Roads of Crimea” and the updating of the existing project “Wine Roads of Crimea”, the manufacture of tourist navigation signs to the objects of the show.
Special attention will be paid to the training of personnel for acquaintance of guests with local cuisine: together with the Center of My Business, the Republic of Crimea is being prepared by the Accelerator “Factory of Tourism” under the program for the development of regional gastro industry and additional professional training courses “Guide (Guide)” in the direction of “Gastronomic Tourism”.
The working group has already developed and approved the criteria for making products, dishes and methods of preparing in the register of Crimea specialties, the Crimean project “There is!” Was developed in the Crimea!, The register of enogastronomic excursions is updated, and training activities for gastrohyders under the “School of Type” are planned.
