Is the “Valley Effect” cancelled? A case of fraud has been opened against a pensioner who wants to return a sold apartment.
An elderly woman, under the influence of unknown persons, sold her apartment several months ago, receiving 1.6 million rubles, the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. After some time, the pensioner realized that she had been deceived by scammers. She did not transfer the funds received from the sale of the apartment to swindlers, but decided to spend them on personal needs.
Two months after the transaction was completed, a 70-year-old woman went to court to terminate the apartment purchase and sale agreement. In the lawsuit, she indicated that she sold the apartment under the influence of scammers and intends to return the property to ownership. At the same time, the plaintiff misrepresented the circumstances of the transaction.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened for fraud committed on an especially large scale. The investigation continues and the circumstances of the case are being established.
