We will appeal to the government with a proposal to soften the conditions and significantly expand the list of cities where you can take out a family mortgage for secondary housing, which is often much more affordable for citizens than new buildingssaid the parliamentarian.
Investment expert, head of the federal program “Family Capital” Evgeny Tkachev, in a conversation with a Tsian.Zhurnal correspondent, said that further expansion of family mortgages on the secondary market is necessary.
We have quite a lot of cities where, in principle, there are no new buildings. At the same time, taking out loans based on market conditions is simply unprofitable. Therefore, in my opinion, expanding the list of cities for family mortgages for secondary housing is a fairly reasonable step, — noted the speaker.
In his opinion, the consequence of expanding family mortgages to the secondary market will be an increase in housing prices.
But growth will depend on the city. I do not rule out that in the near future the cost of finished housing in specific locations may increase by 10–15%. And then it will continue to grow, as the demand for secondary goods will go up, — concluded Evgeny Tkachev.
Artyom Kurmachev, head of the Kurmachev real estate management center, emphasized that the spread of family mortgages to the secondary market slightly revived the market and led to a slight increase in demand.
Regarding the initiative to expand the list of cities in which family mortgages are available for secondary use, I don’t think that this will fundamentally change anything. Of course, this will help a certain number of people.
