The detectives of the criminal investigation department, together with employees of the juvenile department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch, located two teenage girls, born in 2005, who were previously announced in . On May 17, at about 3:00 am, the girls arbitrarily left their place of residence — a social and rehabilitation center for minors, located in Kerch.
As a result of operational-search activities on May 18 at night, 17-year-old girls were found by police officers in the Soviet district of the Republic of Crimea— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The police found that no illegal actions were committed against minors during their stay outside the institution.
