Kerchanin is suspected of car repair and theft

At the beginning of October of this year, the police received several statements from city residents regarding fraudulent activities and theft committed by the accused. It was established that in one of the city garage cooperatives the man was servicing cars. He rented the premises by agreement from the owner of the garage, with whom he was previously acquainted. Under the pretext of purchasing spare parts to carry out repair work on the victims’ cars, the attacker received money from them totaling about 35 thousand rubles. However, the defendant was not going to fulfill the agreement on car repairs and disappeared along with the money, not forgetting to “grab” the property of the garage owner, — reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

Thanks to the coordinated work of employees of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch, the man was promptly detained.

The accused is under recognizance not to leave the place.
