KFU called the number of people who visited the cave «Tavrida» during the New Year holidays

For three days of full-fledged work on New Year’s holidays, the cave «Tavrida» was visited by more than 2.5 thousand people. Thanks to the well-organized work of the staff of the excursion department, it was possible to significantly reduce the waiting time: during peak hours, excursions departed every ten minutes. Visitors, in addition to the standard route and its information part, were invited to take part in a theatrical quest through the cave.

The festive quest includes solving various intellectual logic tasks for knowledge of the geographical objects of the Crimea and various skill games. For example, the participants had to walk through a tangled rope part of the cave tour route. The quest is aimed at both adults and children from 12 years. During the work on holidays, more than seventy people took part in it, — the press service of the university quotes the head of the tourist and excursion department of the Scientific Speleo-Paleontological Complex «Tavrida Cave», associate professor of the Department of Tourism of the Crimean Federal University Igor Vakhrushev.

In addition, for the further development of the excursion route, the specialists of the Scientific Speleo-Paleontological Complex «Tavrida Cave» will begin the development of new interactive objects using information technologies.
